Reorganizing my exams with the new files - May 2026

Changes to how exam sharing and management work will take effect on May 21, 2026.
This transition is handled automatically: you do not need to perform any technical migration on your end.
What remains the same
Existing shares will continue to work
Your content will not disappear, and existing access permissions will remain valid for examinees and your colleagues
What’s changing starting May 20
Previously, some shared exams could display a folder hierarchy for the people who received them.
After the transition, these folders will no longer appear for the recipient of a shared exam.
These exams will appear unsorted in All Exams and can be easily found in the Shared with Me filter
Why this change?
The old system could become difficult to navigate when multiple people shared exams organized in folder hierarchies.

How to get back to what you were doing before
1. I used my folders to manage my personal exams
You can continue to use the Private Space section for your own organization.
Your private folders are still the best place to organize your personal exams.
2. I used to share exams one by one
Existing shares continue to work.
If this is only an occasional need, you can keep doing it this way.
3. I mainly used my folders to coordinate collaborative work
This is the biggest change.
If you were using your private folders as an organizational tool for multiple people, we now recommend recreating this setup in a Team Space.
You can move a folder to turn it into a Team Space
4. Several of us in the same organization manage the same exams
We recommend that you:
create a Team Space
define a common structure
file the exams that need to be managed collectively there
This approach is particularly useful for complex organizational structures, where multiple people regularly share content with one another.
Who can create a Team Space?
At the organizational level, any user can create a Team Space.
