Configure criterion-based evaluation mode

Assess on the basis of the same evaluation criteria shared by all questions

Define overall evaluation criteria

Choose the evaluation mode from the drop-down menu from the following options:

  • Overall Evaluation. Classic evaluation with only an overall score calculated for the entire exam.

  • Criteria-based Evaluation. Advanced evaluation with, in addition to the overall score, a score for each evaluation criterion, based on the criteria evaluated for the different questions.

You can then enter several evaluation criteria by adding them one by one.

Once you have entered all your exam assessment criteria, you should have this:

Configure the marking grids based on these criteria

You can configure the marking scheme for each question based on these overall assessment criteria. This will allow points to be awarded for the different criteria.

When you create a criterion in the grading scale for a question, you can:

  1. choose a criterion from the exam evaluation criteria already entered

  2. add the assessment instructions for this criterion choose: these are marking instructions specific to the question

  3. define the total number of points assessed by this criterion for the question

Grade & assign points by criteria

Go to the By question tab to correct the answers question by question and lock the marking grid for each question.

a/ Lock the grid 1 so that you can fill in the grids 2 for each answer

b/ Click on "Générer les feedbacks" to generate suggestions for points and feedback:

c/ Once the suggestions have been generated, you will have:

d/ Remember to click on Approuver to validate the correction of the answer with the points awarded manually or by the AI.

e/ You will then obtain the final result for a corrected answer:

Copies & grades by criteria

When you access a participant's copy from the Grades tab, you will also see the details of the criteria-based assessment with grades by criteria in addition to the overall assessment with the overall grade.
