Evalmee is used in education, training, and recruitment alike. This help center therefore uses generic terms: here is what they correspond to in your context.

People

In this help center

In your context

Participant: the person who takes the exam

student, pupil, candidate, learner, trainee, recruit, evaluated employee

You: the person who creates, proctors, or grades the exam

teacher, trainer, evaluator, recruiter, jury

Your colleagues or members: the other users in your organization

teaching team, graders, proctors, administrators

ℹ️ In the app, participants and members are named with the words your organization chose: for example Assign › Learners for a training organization. See Choose your organization's vocabulary.

Roles on an exam or a folder

When you share an exam or a folder with a colleague, you give them a role. Your organization has four default roles:

  • Full Access: all permissions, including sharing, moving, and deleting. The person who creates an exam has this role on it.

  • Editor: edits the subject and settings, manages sessions and participants, proctors, grades, assigns graders, and views results. Cannot share, move, or delete the exam.

  • Viewer: views the exam and its results, follows participants live, and reviews proctoring recordings, without changing anything.

  • Proctor: follows participants during the exam and answers the chat, with no access to the subject, grades, or recordings.

Your organization’s administrators can customize these roles. See Share exams with colleagues
